After Dr. Andrea Pana received her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from George Washington University, she completed a Family Medicine Residency at UCLA and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. She served as a physician in the U.S. Air Force.
Dr. Pana was team physician for the University of Texas Sports Medicine program for men’s football, track and field, tennis, and swimming. During her 20-year career, she was team physician for Purdue University for women’s soccer, volleyball, and basketball including championship events. She is assisted as volunteer physician during the U.S. Olympic trials and at the United States Olympic Training Center. She served on the Board of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine from 2008-2012.
Dr. Pana enjoys swimming, walking, spinning, lifting weights, and Austin’s exceptional movie and music festival scene.
