Ashis Patel
My name is Ashis Patel. I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana attending LSU for my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. Graduate school took me to St. Augustine, Florida where I attended the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences for my Doctor of Physical Therapy as well as a Manual Therapy Certification. I have been in the DFW area since graduating from PT school in 2001 and spent most of my career in the outpatient orthopedic setting. I enjoy orthopedic and sports medicine cases and believe in using a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on individualized treatment plans that address the root cause of pain and dysfunction. I feel guests should take an active role in their recovery.
My personal interests include traveling with family and friends, following LSU sports, finding new places to eat, and just spending time with the family. I have been married for nearly 23 years and have 2 children, Dylan, a senior in high school, and Shreya, a freshman.
