Bernard Xu, DPT

Bernard brings a diverse background and a patient-centered approach to physical therapy. Originally from China, Bernard lived in multiple cities before spending nearly a decade in Plano, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the Medical University of South Carolina, graduating in 2024.Bernard is passionate about using a multi-modal treatment approach, combining targeted exercise programs with manual therapy techniques. He emphasizes functional, goal-oriented care tailored to each individual’s needs, and believes in fostering open, transparent communication throughout the recovery process.Outside the clinic, Bernard enjoys playing the piano, cooking, weightlifting, and exploring new languages.
