Kayla Mundy
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Kayla Mundy, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant with Direct Orthopedic Care. She earned a full-ride Division I basketball scholarship to the University of New Orleans, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Health Promotion in 2018. She went on to earn her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in December 2024.
After completing her training, Kayla returned to the DFW metroplex to begin her career in orthopedics—a field that has always inspired her as a former athlete. She is passionate about helping patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they love. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, exploring her hometown, spending time with family and friends, and watching basketball.
